What you're building
Eleven to start, four on the bench. Fifteen in total.
One line at a time. Your keeper first, then defence, then midfield,
then attack. The bar at the top tells you where you are.
The last three are yours. Once each line has its minimum, spend the
rest wherever you fancy.
Three per club in your XI, and one per club on the bench.
If the game won't let you pick someone it says why on the card.
Then pick a captain (double points) and a supersub (treble for
a goal).
When it counts
Your squad is for one round of fixtures. It locks when the first match of
that round kicks off, and a Scottish round runs Friday night to Monday night, so
that's usually the Friday. Anyone playing on the Monday still scores for
you.
Next round, you pick a fresh fifteen.

The rules
Get it wrong and you're out. No second chances.
Equal numbers count as right.
Players come up at random every time, so there's nothing to memorise.
FANZWIPE
First things first
What should we call you?
It's the only thing your mates see on the
leaderboard. No email, no password, nothing else asked for — and without one
your squads and scores can't be saved anywhere.
Letters and numbers, no spaces, sixteen
at most. Don't use your real name.
LEAGUES
You'll need a nickname first. It takes about five
seconds and it's the only thing anyone else sees.

SETTINGS
The number on each card is what that player
actually did in the season you pick here. 2025/26 is the default because
it's the last one that finished, so every player has a real record. Once the new
season is a few games old you can switch to it and the numbers will mean
something.
By position means you fill the keeper and
each line in turn, so the game almost never has to refuse a pick. The last three
slots are yours to spend anywhere. Mixed is the old way, everyone at once.
Build XI
Fifteen in total. An XI of eleven, then four on the bench.
The XI: one goalkeeper, three to five defenders, three to five
midfielders, one to three forwards.
The bench: any four you like, no position rules.
Three per club in your XI. No filling your team with one side.
One per club on the bench, counted separately. So if your favourite
team already has three players starting, you can still put one of theirs on
the bench. It isn't just whoever's left over.
Zwipe right to pick, left to skip. Skipped players come round again,
so there's no rush.
How points work
Daniel's rules, with numbers on them. Not wired to live matches yet.
Goals. Keeper 10 · Defender 8 · Midfielder 6 · Forward 4.
The rarer it is, the more it's worth. Assist. 3, whoever you are. Clean sheet. Keeper 4 · Defender 3 · Midfielder 1. A keeper's
clean sheet is worth the same as a striker scoring. Keeper conceding. −1 each for the first three, then −2 each
after that. Cards. Yellow −1 · Red −3. Own goal −2. Playing. 1 point for getting on the pitch. Didn't play, nothing at all.
Hat-trick. Three in one match and that player's goals are tripled. Captain. Doubles their whole total. Supersub. Double for an assist, treble for a goal. Multipliers don't stack. If a hat-trick and the supersub both apply, you
get the bigger one, not both. The captain's double goes on top of that.
A fresh squad every round. Your fifteen only counts for one round of
fixtures. When the next one comes round you pick again from scratch, so a good
week never carries you and a bad one never sinks you. No swaps once it's locked. Your squad locks when the first match of the
round kicks off. A Scottish round runs across four days, Friday night to Monday
night, so the deadline is usually the Friday even though most of the football is
on the Saturday. Anyone playing on the Monday still scores for you. Get your
squad in early.
